CAMPFIRE KIT!
I get frustrated with the sims for not giving me regular campfires, so I finally made one. Well, campfires cloned from the firepits automatically generate those icky black chairs for sims to sit when they interact. To solve this problem, use the provided natural seating (2 recolorable logs, one on its end, one on its side; a rock) and place them around the fire. Sims will use these rocks and logs as chairs, because they are cloned from dining chairs, so feel free to use them in other place too!
Sims can use the fire to roast marshmellows, etc. Some of the animations seem a bit odd because of the height change. This is not something that can be fixed. Overall, though, there doesn't seem to be any problems with using the fire aside from the odd animations at times, so here you go:

Sometimes what you really need is some good clutter. Here's some, cloned from the World Adventure's parchment decor, which show maps (clean and bloody) or sealed letter and orders.

Glad you asked. None of the beds in the Sims 3 were really working for me, so I made a new one. It's fully functional. Sims can sleep on it, read books on it, nap, even make the bed if they're so inclined. It's recolorable too. :)
